Spa U10s vs Kilcummin U10s β Match Report

The Spa U10 boys welcomed Kilcummin to the home pitch last Wednesday evening for an entertaining set of go games.
A solid turnout from both clubs helped create a buzzing and encouraging atmosphere as the young players prepared for what turned out to be a great game. The conditions were good, and the boys delivered plenty of lively, end-to-end action from the first whistle.
Kilcummin came with a determined and organised side that pushed Spa all the way, showing strong tackling, smart positioning, and some slick attacking moves. Their energy kept the games competitive and provided plenty of valuable learning opportunities.
The home side delivered a committed and spirited display in response. The Spa lads showed real hunger for the ball, with several notable catches in the air, determined charges forward, and tight defensive work. It was especially pleasing to see the full panel working together as a unit, with constant communication and support for each other on the field. The coaches were impressed by the growing maturity and hunger shown across the squad.
Both teams played with excellent respect and fair play, making the evening a pleasure to be part of.
A heartfelt thanks to Kilcummin for travelling and for the positive, sporting contest they brought with them. Their players and mentors were a credit to their club.
To all the Spa U10 boys β you should be very pleased with your efforts and application last Wednesday. You represented the blue and yellow with real pride and showed clear signs of continued progress. Well done to every single one of you.
