Spa GAA’s Health & Wellbeing Committee recently organised a Movember Ahead of the Game workshop for our U14 girls, welcoming Conor Bohane (Kerry Hurling) and Julia White (Cork Camogie) to the club.
The well-attended session brought together players, parents and coaches, focusing on mental fitness, wellbeing and the importance of open conversations in sport. Conor and Julia delivered an engaging workshop, sharing insights from their own sporting journeys and encouraging resilience, teamwork and communication.
We were proud of how our players engaged on the night, earning great praise for their maturity and openness. Thanks to our coaches and families for supporting the initiative, and to Spa’s Health & Wellbeing Committee for organising such an important and worthwhile event.
