Best wishes to our Spa GAA members who will be involved in the Corn Uí Mhuirí quarter-final tomorrow, Wednesday January 14th.

St Brendan’s College, Killarney take on Tralee CBS at 1:30pm in Austin Stack Park, Tralee, in what promises to be a highly competitive encounter. Club members are encouraged to get along and support the lads if possible.

Spa GAA is proudly represented by four players — Joey McCarthy, Caolan Mitchell, Jack O’Donoghue and JJ O’Donoghue — along with Kieran Herlihy, who is part of the St Brendan’s management team.

The Corn Uí Mhuirí is the premier Gaelic football competition for Munster senior “A” schools and is regarded as one of the most prestigious trophies at post-primary level, with the eventual winners progressing to the Hogan Cup. Encounters between Kerry schools, particularly St Brendan’s and Tralee CBS, are always keenly contested.

For those unable to attend, the match will be streamed live on Clubber, which can be found via https://clubber.ie/ (also see image below)

Everyone in Spa GAA wishes our players and management the very best of luck tomorrow and looks forward to seeing them perform on such a big stage.
