Spa GAA was well represented at the East Kerry All Star Banquet held on Friday night, with many club members in attendance for the annual celebration of footballing excellence and service to the GAA.
The club had two players, Gary Vaughan and Mike Foley, nominated for selection on the East Kerry All Star Team. Congratulations to Mike Foley, who was named on the final All Star Team – a fantastic achievement and a testament to his performances throughout the year.
A highlight of the evening was the induction of club member John O’Leary into the East Kerry GAA Hall of Fame, with club President Ger Galvin giving a great speech about John on the night. This prestigious honour recognises John’s tireless work, dedication and long-standing commitment to the Association. It was a proud moment for John, his family and friends, and for Spa GAA, as his contribution to the GAA received well-deserved recognition.
Many Spa GAA members were present on the night, reflecting the strong club support and pride in those being honoured.
Spa GAA extends its congratulations to Mike Foley on his All Star selection and to John O’Leary on his Hall of Fame induction.
