On Friday night, our u14 development team started with a win over Rathmore in Spa. Spa started strong with a Ted Sheehan goal the pick of the early action. A good sporting contest with Spa coming out on top by 4 points in the end, 5-13 to 5-9.
On Sunday morning, our u14 A side started Div 1A away to Scartaglen. A good Scartaglen side starded well with the wind to lead by 2 at half time. 2 early second half Scartaglen goals had us under pressure but goals in the last 10 minutes from Jack Glesson and Aidan Hickey saw us salvage a draw in tough conditions, 3-6 apiece a fair result on the day.
It's a quick turnaround for our A side who welcome Legion on Tuesday evening in Round 2, our development team are away to the same opponents on Friday evening.
