Sympathy is extended to the Moynihan and Kelly families Lissivigeen and Ballaugh on the recent death of Nora Boyle nee Moynihan in Melbourne Australia and to Margaret Kennedy Clash on the death of her sister, May They Rest in Peace.
Lissivigeen Residents Association--
A special meeting of the Lissivigeen Area Residents Association will be held at Darby oGills on this Thursday 3rd July,All welcome to attend.
Munster fianl Tickets--
Club members who may have ordered tickets for Sunday,s Munster football final are requested to collect same in the Clubhouse on this Wednesday night at 9PM.
Church Gate Collection--
A special word of thanks is extended to all club members who assisted with the annual collection on Sunday ,to all who made financial contributions with a special word of thanks to that great club servant Johnny Cronin who made his own personal transport available to put the collection equipment in place at the Church gates and to Seanie and Assumpta who ensured that adequate collectors were available for all masses.
Summer Camps--
Junior club members who may wish to enroll for the annual Summer Camps from July I4th to July I8th are invited to contact Fergus Clifford at O87--97O3274 or club secretary Ann Holland at O87-6332773 as early as possible.
Athletics--
Congrats to Denis Finnegan who was a member of the Irish Senior Athletcs team which was placed third in the European Cup held in Estonia las weekend.Denis was placed 6th in the Triple Jump with a new personal best jump of I4.67 metres and also to Eimear Tangney who was a member of the Irish School,s team which competed in the Marco Germaneto Cup and finishing in 5th place,
This was a teemendous honour for both Denis and Eimear and the Spa Muckross Athletc club.

Road Improvement--
Councillor Michael Gleeson has allocated 2,OOO euros from his Councillor,s Allocation towards drainage works in the Mill Road and the Area Engineer has been instructed to commence this work.
Regatta--
Killarney,s 223rd Annual Regatta attracted a record attendance to the oMahoneys Point venue on Sunday with the spectatord being treated to some excellent racing and some close finish.
While Fossa and Muckross may have eventually shared the spoils it was also a successful day for Workmen,Flesk Valley,St Brendans and Commercials who also shared in the success of the day.
GAA Report--
There was some local disappointment at the late postponement of the Spa vDingle county league game on Saturday evening.
Congrats to Michael oDonoghue and Nial oMahoney who were members of the Kerry junior football team which defeated Cork in the Munster final and best wishes are extended to Cian Tobin who will line out with the Kerry minor team in next Sunday Munster final,
Best wishes are also extended to Michael oDonoghue for a speedy recovery from a recent injury sustained during the week


GAA Club Membership is now due and may be paid to club registrars Gerard Mangan or
Donal Cronin Kilbrean. Adults €35 Players €35 plus €20 for insurance Juveniles €20 plus €20 for insurance clubhouse on Friday evenings 7-9pm.
