GAA club members who may wish to make application for Gaeltacht Scholarships are invited to contact club secretary Ann Holland prior to March 2Ist. Total cost for usual period is 890 euros and the EK board will make available a grant of 200 euros.
01/03/2010 Award for Michael Finnegan
Congrats to Michael Finnegan who was the recipient of a GAA Bursary Award at Mary Immaculate College Limerick recently to the value of 1000 euros. Michael received the award for administration and his work for football in the college. Michael was a member of the Kerry minor football panel and Spa senior football panel last season but injury has temporarily suspended his football activity. However he is expected to be back to full fitness shortly. We wish him every success in his studies and future career in football.

Club members who may wish to avail of the weekend trip to Derby England on the weekend of March 12th to 14th are requested to contact Jim Gleeson at O87-634O581. Flight is due to leave Cork at 18-OO and fare is 4O euros one way. Departing Luton on Sunday 19-25 arriving in Kerry Airport 20-55. Spa will be participating in the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade which is held in Derby on that weekend.

Spa GAA club will kick off their "Who's Got Talent" show this Saturday night March 6th at Darby O’Gills 7-3Opm and a full house is expected for what promises to be a night of top class entertainment. Admission is as follows: Adults 8 Euros, Children 4 euros and family admission is 20 euros. Further heats will be held on March 13th and 20th with a Grand final on March 27th and an attractive prize of 1,000 euros for the eventual winner.
